But everything changed, 800 years ago...when the Tower emerged. A rumble, a flash of light, as the World flipped on its head. Thousands of beings had become awakened, and the System, a mysterious force that arrived, opposed the Gods' rule, dethroning them and plunging Terra into instability. In the present, the world faces an onslaught of Dungeons and Rifts to other realms, disrupting its once stable existence. The Awakened were given one duty.
