About AA | WORLD EATERS
## Origin Founding: The World Eaters were originally known as the "War Hounds," one of the twenty original Space Marine Legions created during the Great Crusade by the Emperor of Mankind. Primarch: Their Primarch is Angron, a brutal and aggressive leader who was discovered on the planet Nuceria. He was a gladiatorial slave, known for his combat prowess and ferocity. ## Transformation The Butcher's Nails: Angron was subjected to horrific surgeries known as the Butcher's Nails, implants that increased his aggression and combat ability but also robbed him of his sanity and free will. This significantly influenced the World Eaters' violent and bloodthirsty nature. Fall to Chaos: During the Horus Heresy, the World Eaters were lured to the worship of Khorne, the Chaos God of War and Bloodshed. This led to their complete embrace of Chaos, becoming a Legion synonymous with brutality and slaughter. ## Current Status Khorne Worship: The World Eaters are fanatical worshippers of Khorne, and their battles often revolve around bloodshed and conquest. They seek to spill blood in the name of their god, driven by an insatiable thirst for violence. Berserker Culture: Many World Eaters have transformed into "Berserkers," warriors consumed by rage and bloodlust, often fighting without armor or hesitation. They rely on their combat skills, enhanced by their mutations and wargear. Modern Conflicts: In the current era, the World Eaters continue to raid and pillage throughout the galaxy, participating in the ongoing conflicts of the Warhammer 40,000 universe. They seek to fulfill Khorne's will, often clashing with the Imperium and other factions, and are known for their brutal, merciless tactics.
