What we’re building: TasteMaker is a full social platform and funding layer for music. Artists get profiles, feeds, and community spaces, post music, photos, videos, and updates; chat with backers and other artists in dedicated groups. Fans get the same: profiles, feeds, and the chance to back projects with platform credits and receive ownership shares in return — real ownership and a share of revenue. Artists and fans use TASTE, the platform's own currency, so that every participant is a co-owner with a vote — not just a customer of another company. Funds are held safely and released to the artist at each milestone (e.g. producer hired, recording done, album released); no middleman decides when money moves. Fans become co-owners and community; artists set their own terms and keep the relationship — they choose what to offer, and nothing is taken that wasn't explicitly offered. We're starting with the concept of funding album recording, but we're expanding fan-backed ownership to merch, tour funding, and more, anything the artist chooses to share with backers as the basis for the deal. Structure and terms will follow what's appropriate from a regulatory and legal standpoint.
